We will also be hosting an online webinar which will include presentations on the onshore noise, traffic and greenhouse gas assessment studies.

French Island Community Information Session

The Port of Hastings Corporation are hosting a community information session on French Island for local residents. Come along to hear from the project team, ask questions, and learn about the project design, construction approach, and the visual amenity technical study.

The session will feature a presentation from members of the project team and subject experts, followed by a Q&A session.

Public site tours – register your interest

Port of Hastings Corporation is planning to host future public site tours of the proposed Victorian Renewable Energy Terminal. 
If you are interested in attending one of these sessions, you can sign up to our waiting list to register your interest. 
The tours will include a guided walking tour of the Old Tyabb Reclamation Area, the location of the proposed Terminal.

Past events

Community roundtable sessions

In June and July 2025, our team held four community roundtable session. Two in Hastings, one in Cowes, and another in Flinders.

Each session featured a presentation from technical specialists, followed by roundtable discussions where the community had the chance to ask questions, share feedback, and directly engage with both the technical and project teams.

Online webinars

We have also hosted three online webinars on 14 November 2024, 24 June 2025, and 10 July 2025, providing updates on the project, the EES study areas, construction and operation processes. We also had live Q&A sessions as part of these webinars.
